The Blades Rain

The Blades Rain
(By L.A.Putri)

I was between two difficult choices
Not just to pick the right or left side
But to decide,
Keep running forward or turn
I think it will get heavier,
to keep running and get it
its a long way ahead
And here, im already so tired
Far, very far away
i can't see even the shadow
Im in a state,
Like a cloudy sky warns me
There will be a thousand blades rain ready to stub me
Even my steel umbrella cannot afford me
It's the fear that killed me, not the blades
The courage that will saved me, not running and looking for a safe place
I want too keep reach that unseen shadow
Then,
The blades rain will turn into a thousand flowers rain

That's my own poem, i made it for my last writing assignment. And I decided to share it to you guys. I also share the analysis of the poem, so you can undersand it easily. Happy reading :-)

Themes and Contents:
The theme of the poetry is about life. About the two choices the writer faces, she must keep run to get what she wants, with a thousand of painful struggles, or give up and stop, and forget everything she wants then be free from a thousand exhausting problems. The blade in this poem is like a problem that writers must face. Rain flower is a picture of the author when one day, won her victory. All he needs is one, that is courage. Because fear will only break her spirits.

Feeling:
The feeling of the poem "The Blades Rain" is confusing. About the writer's confusion in making choices, but ends with her  belief in a decision and choice she finally chooses.

Atmosphere:
The atmosphere caused after reading the poem is that we must know that in living, the life is not as easy as we often imagine. The reader should be aware that in life there will always be many choices we should consider. Includes choice in the journey of achieving goals. There will be many struggles that we must go through.

Message:
Do not give up easily in life, because the more effort you spend, the greater results you will get.

Short Story Analysis : A Haunted House by Virginia Woolf

A Haunted Hous e by Virginia Woolf             Whatever hour you woke there was a door shutting. From room to room they went, hand in hand, lifting here, opening there, making sure—a ghostly couple.             “Here we left it,” she said. And he added, “Oh, but here too!” “It’s upstairs,” she murmured. “And in the garden,” he whispered “Quietly,” they said, “or we shall wake them.”                But it wasn’t that you woke us. Oh, no. “They’re looking for it; they’re drawing the curtain,” one might say, and so read on a page or two. “Now they’ve found it,” one would be certain, stopping the pencil on the margin. And then, tired of reading, one might rise and see for oneself, the house all empty, the doors standing open, only the wood pigeons bubbling with content and the hum of the threshing ma...
