Cannot tell? Send them! (The Secret Language of Flowers)


"I am sorry for being such a noisy kid. I promise I will not do that again."
"Hey, I like you. You are my sweet, crunchy bite of my first macaron ever!"
"You are the one that took away my happiness. Just go!"

Do those words are hard to come out of your mind through your mouth?

Then express your feelings through flowers!

We know that flowers are beautiful from their looks, but sometimes beautiful flowers are meant to be wicked. They keep their hidden big secrets under the color of its beautiful colorful bulb. You know that words "Don't judge a book by its cover" it also happens to flowers!  Oh, My GOD!


So, if you have a hard time explaining your feelings to your mother, lover, friends, enemies, exes, strangers, your pets, or even an alien that passed by your transparent roof at 3 AM when you are forced to stay awake just to finish all your work given by your lecturer, just give them a sweet giant bouquet of flowers.

Floriography - they called it to name all those flowers, a language of the flower world. It was coined in the Victorian era. Without further words let us begin our tour in the flower world.

Daffodils



Represent the rebirth and new beginnings. In Chinese legend, if daffodils bulb is still blooming during the New Year, it will bring good luck to your lovely home. A gift with daffodils flower is said to ensure happiness. Remember, daffodils, not only one, a daffodil only can foretell misfortune.


Rose

The most romantic flower ever! Rose is the symbol of love and passion.  Different color for different meaning: red, means passion; white, innocence; yellow: friendship and joy; pink: gratitude, admiration; orange: desire; purple: love at first sight. 

Lily


Derived from the Greek word "leiron," different kinds of lily symbolize different meaning just like the rose. White: chastity; Peruvian lilies: friendship, white stargazer: sympathy.  

        So, okay those are flowers that symbolize happiness, love, and friendship, everything that are good. What about the bad one? A flower that has bad meaning and should not be given to your favorite person. Let us check this out.

Begonia

You can often find it in floral bouquets, but it actually means warns to beware.

Orange Lily


Although lilies are considered to be beautiful it actually represents hate.

Black Rose


Never send it to someone in any kinds of situations, especially the formal one, because a black rose symbolizes death.
