"Music from Eastern Indonesia"

One thing that everyone must like is music, music industry in Indonesia has grown. We all know so many male and female singers from Indonesia like Raisa, Isyana, afgan, ayu ting-ting and so many more. We also know that some of Indonesian singers who go international like Agnes Mo and Anggun Sasmi, all of the famous singers are mostly from java. We rarely see singers from eastern Indonesia, even though we know some singers from eastern Indonesia like Mitha Talahatu or Glenn Fredly who are from Moluccas but is not enough to prove that people from eastern Indonesia has beautiful voice.

Let’s talk about some singers from eastern Indonesia who is not really known by some people in Indonesia like Nowela, Edo Kondologit, Ari Sihalase, Mikael Jakarimilena, Albert Fakdawer and some group band like Rilex Clan, NH2F and Blasta Rap Family who have been famous lately with their song which titled is “ko tinggal turun naik” and even after this song has been released, there are challenge called “Turun Naik Challenge” where they have to do a dance while play that song.

This song release around early January 2017 and uploaded on Youtube. The music video of this song is not contains anything, it is just contains the photo of the group. When this video was uploaded by Youtube channel Hkt Blasta, this video didn’t get any famous at all, but after this video was uploaded by Youtube channel Yekerek, Youtube users began to think that this song is nice so they began to listen to it and end up making the challenge #turunnaikchallenges which is spread everywhere in Instagram with 90,604 public posts.
The original video of this song is about 4 minutes 40 seconds long. The lyrics are pretty simple, though hard to remember. At the beginning of the song plays the lyrics “Ko tinggal turun naik” which is repeated many times. This song tells about the phenomenon of young people in eastern Indonesia with such an unique lyrics.This band also collaborated with one of the famous rapper from Indonesia, Saykoji.

This song seems to quip people who do dance in the vulgar way. In fact, there are a part in this song where they illustrate Nicki Minaj in the lyrics. As we know that, Nicky Minaj often do a sexy dance with her body and it is tend to be vulgar.
