THE HAUNTED SOCCER FIELD (Short story version)

The author of this original story was T.J. Edwards. The original story was published by Scholastic and was published in 1995. The genre of this short story is Mystery Series. Actually, the haunted soccer field is a novel. But, there is a short story version. I already read the short story version that I got from my high school teacher; Mrs. Argo. This short story is told about the children but will be suited for children and adults too. This story is quite long because it has 11 pages (the book has 117 pages). The story took place in field, restroom, in garage, and the backyard
The story tells about a team soccer that called Sonics. The team was composed by Bryan, Sam, Jack, Corey, and Lara. Bryan is a genius boy, and he is championing in soccer especially he is a goalie. Corey and Sam also smart one. Lara is a smart girl, that diligent person that likes to read. Jack is a friendly person, although his nature is coarse. They also have a friend, called Besty. Besty is feminine, and she is a kind person. The team does not know that actually, she is kind outside but wicked inside.
There were smart and dense teams. Until they find news about General Santiago’s Ghost that would haunt everyone that know existence the Medallion. But now the Ghost instead haunted this team. The member of this soccer wants to know what the true happen in their life, till one by one the clue is pronounced. And finally, they can catch the ghost. Actually, there is no phantom but it’s the person that near with them. Like Scooby-doo says that the real monsters are human.
For the readers who have children, I think this story fit to be told to your son/daughter. In my opinion, this story can teach the children about the thrill of the adventure. In addition, this story can teach the children about the importance of cooperation in a team.
From this story, I can learn to be an adept person, that sensitive in condition. I think that from this story we also learn that we should not be a greedy person. The best thing that I got is quote in this story that says everything needs an effort to get a good result, and the way to create this must be rightful.

Short Story Analysis : A Haunted House by Virginia Woolf

A Haunted Hous e by Virginia Woolf             Whatever hour you woke there was a door shutting. From room to room they went, hand in hand, lifting here, opening there, making sure—a ghostly couple.             “Here we left it,” she said. And he added, “Oh, but here too!” “It’s upstairs,” she murmured. “And in the garden,” he whispered “Quietly,” they said, “or we shall wake them.”                But it wasn’t that you woke us. Oh, no. “They’re looking for it; they’re drawing the curtain,” one might say, and so read on a page or two. “Now they’ve found it,” one would be certain, stopping the pencil on the margin. And then, tired of reading, one might rise and see for oneself, the house all empty, the doors standing open, only the wood pigeons bubbling with content and the hum of the threshing ma...
